  • POPPA 800 ml for maceration is the right solution for every standard waste disposal process, whether it is macerator-disposal via the sewage or another waste stream disposal.
  • POPPA has a QR code on the front that allows every user to immediately see a clear instruction video. There are written instructions for use on the back.
  • POPPA is PAS 29:1999 compliant.
  • POPPA in bed urinal is a Class I medical device under EU MDR 2017/745.

Value for the patient

Having the option to urinate independently offers a sense of autonomy and gives patients a lot of control. This leads to a more dignified hospital stay.

Value for the caregiver

Until now, toileting female patients with bedpans has been physically demanding, time-consuming and not hygienic. POPPA’s Female urinal technology makes this daily task easier, cleaner and faster.

What people are saying about us

Feedback, straight from the source. Here’s how POPPA is making a difference.

"This was an item that I didn't know existed. It improved our residents' dignity, staff's efficiency and comfort. Great product, not for every female resident but for the ones who they work for, they are awesome!"
Head Nurse
Hospital & Long-Term Care, Canada
"Easy to position and comfortable in use. It offers a dignified and safe alternative for bedpans."
Ward Nurse
Short-Stay Surgical Unit, The Netherlands
"Good alternative for bedpans, but not suitable for every female patient. It may be challenging for patients with thick legs and a very corpulent overhanging belly and those who are fully supine or unable to follow instructions."
Ward Nurse
Elderly Care Centre, Belgium
"POPPA helps us work faster, cleaner and in line with infection control protocols. It's a win for both patients and staff."
Team Leader
Elderly Care Centre, The Netherlands
"We've used less urinary catheters and consequently seen fewer urinary tract infections since using the POPPA Female Urinal. A clear benefit."
Nurse
Elderly Care Unit, Germany
